"What ever has taken you so long dear friend?", he heard dimly in the
distance. As he feebly hopped towards the sound, he heard more clearly the
sound of splashing water. How beautiful it was. Each note was a drop of
nectar, and the droplets which fell on his head thrilled him with
wonder.
"Come and see your friends," called the old frog before him, whose skin was
radiant with emerald light. "We have been awaiting you."
He hopped forward, and saw the wise and ancient frogs seated upon large
lotus leaves in the midst of a vast lake.
"Noble and venerable sages, I have but one question to ask you. How may I
cease the changing which has no end?"
The oldest frog spoke. "Look deep into the water, where the sunlight meets
the shadow. There you may find an answer."
